It was such an honor that we were able to celebrate our first ceremony with a military couple. Everything was absolutely stunning. The way Ali Rose Photography captured this day was perfect. I love her bright and airy style and the few black and white photos she included. Like this one from their Chapel ceremony. Even though it is black and white, I love the natural wood cascading down the ceiling, the way they are totally surrounded by nature, and that all the groomsmen are standing tall in their dress blues. Such a beautiful moment captured here, as they are saying Yes to forever. Details are always a favorite. Don’t you love to see them come together and how they are always so different with each wedding? With this brides sparkle shoes and all her favorite things, including her perfume. To the grooms watch and his knife. It is always so fun to see what each couple wanted to include in their memories.
This here is two different angles in the same exact spot. The left photo is shot from the outer side of the back window, looking in. It is beautiful how it captures their ceremony area and the pews in the background. The right photo is from the same place, just facing the side. It is always so amazing how much lighting changes with just a change in direction.
What a beautiful sight to see our first wedding pictures with the white Chapel in the background. We have waited so long to see this and we are in love, beyond our wildest imagination. It stands so beautifully behind the bridal party as they celebrate the new bride and groom.Does it get any better than this? Just saying I Do to the man of your dreams and then you and your best friends, in stunning mix match dresses that are the perfect hues for a summer wedding, all standing together in front of the Chapel. This picture of the bridesmaids taking a much needed break, after lots of picture taking, is the best! This is really one of my favorites. It is such real life and perfectly captures what wedding day looks like behind the scenes.
They choose to have their reception at the Barn venue and headed out to the Firefly Lane property to take some open field photos, before heading to their reception. For couple’s who do this, we often tell them to plan for about 45 extra minutes to be able to see all the property and get plenty of shots in nature.
After an gorgeous ceremony in the Chapel and a fun reception at the Barn, they spent the night dancing arm in arm and breathing in every moment. Everything was just as it should have been. Perfect. We are so thankful that you chose to celebrate here with us and that you were our first ceremony in the Chapel. We are thankful for your service to this country and all that you sacrifice. We wish you two a lifetime of love and serving others. Thank you again!
